Assigning permission levels and access

Astrean Academy, Onboarding

Admins can access the Admin dashboard, where you can control access and permission levels for your Astrean team account.

This tutorial will review the following options in this Admin dashboard:

  • Access control - indicate who can login your team's Astrean account
  • Notary status - indicate which users can access Astrean's notary tools (with appropriate notary validation)
  • Admin status - indicate which users will have admin rights to your team's Astrean account

To access the Admin dashboard, just click on the "hamburger icon" on the upper-left corner of your Astrean screen and select the Admin option.

Access control

In the admin dashboard, you will see all the users who have access to your team account. For each user listed, you can disable their access with a few clicks.

For example, if an employee or team member is no longer part of your organization, you can disable their access to your Astrean team account in this Admin dashboard.

Notary status

In the admin dashboard, you can indicate which of your users are notaries and can use the notary toolbox features of your Astrean account.

NOTE: your notaries will have additional requirements before they can use the notarization tools on Astrean. Specifically, we need to verify and validate their notary license or commission.

Admin status

In the admin dashboard, you can indicate which of your users will also have admin access rights to your Astrean team account.

To add co-admins to your account, just find the user's name in your admin dashboard and click on the option to make them co-admins.
