Creating your Astrean account
Whether you're signing up for the "free for life" Personal plan or one of our value-filled subscription tiers, the registration process is the same.
The sign-up process will consist of the following stages:
- Quick registration
- Email verification
- Team setup
1. Quick registration
We've made it easy and fast to set up your account and get started.
To begin, just go to the registration page at https://app.astrean.com/register.
You'll need three items to register a new notary account with Astrean:
- Organization name. This will be used to create a special URL for your account, such as acmenotaries.astrean.com. This should be the name of your notary business; if you're a freelancer with no official business name, you can use a variation of your name.
- Email address. This will be used as your app username and will need to be verified.
- Password. Please select a password that is (1) at least eight characters long, (2) include letters and at least one number and (3) include a symbol such as an exclamation point or pound sign.
In addition, you will need to indicate that you have reviewed and acknowledge the Astrean terms and conditions (T&C).
2. Email verification
Astrean will send a verification email to the address you used. Please open the email and click on the verification link in that email.
If you don't see it in your email inbox, please check your junk or spam folder.
3. Add your notary team and co-workers
Finally, you will need to invite team members to your Astrean account if...
- Your Astrean account is for a team of notaries.
- Your Astrean account is for a business with internal (or even external) notaries, such as a law firm, title company or any business that conducts a fair volume of notarizations
If this applies to you, please review the Adding notaries & co-workers to your team article.
Next: complete onboarding
After completing your registration, you will then need to complete your onboarding to begin enjoying everything your Astrean solution has to offer.
For more information on onboarding, please check out the onboarding section of Astrean Academy.
